A tuna day

A tasty, but not inexpensive, tuna sandwich at the Imperial War Museum Café.

A bellyful of Wales

Scones and tea cakes at Verdi's Café in Mumbles. Turkey rogan josh with half and half at the Ashburnham, Pembrey.
The following day, a picnic in the car on the seafront at Saundersfoot, then back to the Ashburnham in the evening for chicken tikka with half and half.
And finally, the day after, back on the train from Swansea to Paddington with homemade chicken sandwiches.

Archives Of Pain (au chocolat)

A pain au chocolat, or chocolate croissant, or chocolatine, from the new café on Kennington Road. I don't know what it's called, but it's where Jados or Judos or Jedis used to be and after that, the short-lived Dippy Egg.

We were on our way to the Dippy Egg last June, when we got snapped by the Google Streetview car. Excitement. Next time, I'll remember to hold my belly in.

It's been a while...

A long while, in fact. Something to do with a startling BMI and seeing a documentary about fat toddlers on Channel 4. Let's celebrate our return with a chicken curry with half and half, from the Ashburnham Hotel, South Wales. Here's a little map. Get yourself down there.
